The Quran and authentic Hadith contain 99 names of Allah known as Asma-ul-Husna (The Beautiful Names). A Hadith in Bukhari and Muslim states that Allah has 99 names and whoever memorizes and understands them will enter Paradise. These names describe His divine attributes such as Al-Rahman (The Most Merciful) and Al-Hakeem (The All-Wise).
