The Nobel Peace Prize is uniquely awarded in Oslo Norway while the other Nobel Prizes are presented in Stockholm Sweden. The Norwegian Nobel Committee selects the Peace Prize laureate. This arrangement dates back to Alfred Nobel's will which specified the Norwegian Parliament to oversee this prize.
