Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiq (R.A.) was the first of the Rightly Guided Caliphs. He assumed leadership of the Muslim community after the passing of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and played an important role in maintaining the unity and stability of the early Islamic state.
